FREEWRITING

Phew! Been staring at this screen for upwards of ten minutes now, was supposed to come up with an idea in five minute. Well, I guess it's one of those moments when writing becomes a drag.
Talking about idea for the next major assignment, I watching the news the other day and heard arguments about why the Congress should not raise the debt ceiling. As usual, the Rhetoric was coated in the patriotic rambling of defending liberty and limiting government intrusion into our personal life. And I just wonder, how do politicians convince the middle class to vote against their self interest? It's like telling a man to go to hell in such a way that he sells all he has in preparation for it. I think it will make for an interesting piece.
