The challenging thing about this course, amazingly, was not the course work itself, but the tools we had to use to get our work done. I have been out of school for more than a decade and know to do the things I daily do and almost nothing else! I had to figure out how to post blogs, embed pictures, create a movie and source information from the web. I am the better that I sign up for English 103.

Reality oftentimes eludes us.We assume that reality is what we can see, feel, taste and control; our senses, that is measurable and malleable to our comfort and needs. But reality is acknowledging that in spite of all we know (and we do know bunch more than, say, just fifty years ago) we're no nearer to the happiness and fulfilment we desire. The world we've created because of our liberty to explore has not bought us peace and contentment; the more we have, the more we want to have. Maybe, just, maybe, reality goes beyond the senses, into realms of the Eternal

At times like this when Washington is held hostage by partisanship and gross immaturity,
the statue of Lincoln seats in stark contrast of what we used to be:
O for  a leadership that is as selfless, O for one that's unshakled in creativity,
that may rally the better angels of ourselves, and have more of 'us' and less of 'me'.
